Abstract

Like any cult, the Andean cult still has intermediaries between men and the divinity, although in some cases, the officiant of the cult is not necessarily a paqo or patamisayoq but rather the oldest shepherd or the owner of the animals. In addition to intermediaries, it has ritual ceremonies of varied duration, as well as preferential places of worship. It is through these ritual ceremonies that all the manifestations of the religious system become evident.
