Abstract

We want from the beginning to propose the study of Andean women within the socio-historical realities of the community, the family and the social fabric of the area; realities in which the life of the Andes is manifested and affirmed. Within them, the position occupied by women contributes to affirming the survival of the family group as a base, based on social relations of cohesion, on which, at the same time, it is sustained. It is easy, in a first approximation, to perceive the world of women as hidden and relegated. In the productive process, the tasks assigned to her seem to have a purely secondary character.
