Abstract

Hans Mesiter: This is José Espiritu's way of the cross, Don Candelario, perhaps you can give me your observations. Candelario Cruzado: Well, the observations seem to me to be quite good. They are taken from reality, from what the peasant lives: poverty. As for Jesus, he shared his body and blood for us, thus representing that here the community meets and shares food, what the land produces. I don't know if the drawing shows potatoes, field, mote, everything that our small farm produces. That is also called minga.
