Abstract

If one stops to think in terms of the regions about their future possibilities, the South Andean clearly appears as a candidate worth betting on. Not only because several of the most important medium-term projects that exist in the country are located within it, but also because, comparatively, it constitutes the most clearly defined and integrated region. In the Andean South are: Camisea gas soon to be developed, road integration with Brazil and Bolivia, the international airport of Cusco and the port development of Ilo.
