Abstract
The National Psychology Awards were established in 1991 by the College of Psychologists of Peru, an institution that awards them and was created on April 30, 1980 and which to date brings together more than 54 thousand registered psychologists throughout the country. In turn, the College of Psychologists of Peru was created with Decree Law No. 23019 from the Peruvian Society of Psychology, which since its creation on February 18, 1954 housed various professionals, preferably psychiatrists, educators, philosophers and lawyers; who cultivated their interest in psychology through publications such as books and articles that appeared in Peru and abroad (Jáuregui, 2023).
