Abstract

In this article we intend to analyze the social processes that occurred in the Peasant Community of San Agustín de Huayopampa in relation to the changes produced in its agrarian structure. The case we are examining helps to understand some aspects of the process of economic and social integration between the various regions of the country. Huayopampa shows how an economic micro-region, located in the mountains of the Chillón river basin (Department of Lima), gradually became integrated into a broader regional and national market.
