Abstract

The Señalsqa can be done on any day of the year. Each animal owner has a designated day that all the neighbors know. In addition, each owner has his own brand. When one of his children reaches a certain age (3, 4 or more years), the father gives his children some females, whose offspring become the property of this son or daughter. The animals of each son or daughter have a special marking, so there is no confusion.
