Abstract

In this issue we complete the delivery of the papers presented at the IX Congress of ALER, held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, in 2002. Studying religion in the Andes today cannot leave aside the analysis of religions evangelicals that have spread in recent years in the cities and with a faster pace in the communities. Despite the belief that popular religiosity would stop the advance of other religions, due to the force of belief and tradition, this has not been the case in many communities.
