Abstract

I will tell a little about my life. My name is Gregorio Quispe Apaza and I live in the Cayacaya community, district of Putina (Puno). We are two brothers, a boy and a girl. My sister was born in Bolivia, because my father, when there were uprisings and fights with the landowners, I think in 1930 or before, went to Bolivia, to the Oruro mines and got married there. My sister was born there and I here in Peru, in Cayacaya. I don't have much education, I only studied up to the second year of primary school, because my dad didn't have money to send us to another place to continue more and also because in my community there was only one school with a teacher up to the second year; You couldn't take it anymore, even though I wanted to, but when you don't have money, no matter how much you want to, you can't and you just stay there; is that my mom died, I don't know what disease, when I was 9 years old and since then my dad was father and mother to us, but he couldn't educate us anymore.
