Abstract

Few have been the authors who, in recent years, published inventories about Andean studies with explicit references to religious, mythical and ritual themes. Most of the time the aforementioned themes appear between socioeconomic or political issues. It is difficult to explain the reasons that prevent the most prominent Andeanists from periodically evaluating the works that serve as a pretext for these pages. Undoubtedly, the best-known specialists among mountaineers are not interested in these matters. Or perhaps they judge the studies of all those who write about religion, myth and ritual unimportant.
